Cepeda Systems & Software Analysis (CSSA) Receives 2018 Small Business Prime Contractor Excellence Award

Huntsville, Ala. – During the NASA Industry and Advocates Award Ceremony held at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration on September 20, 2018, Cepeda Systems & Software Analysis, Inc. (CSSA) was honored to receive the 2018 Small Business Prime Contractor Excellence Award from Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).

Each year, MSFC identifies small and large prime contractors at the semi-annual Marshall Small Business Alliance (MSBA) meeting. Prime contractors, subcontractors, and civil service teams are honored for success and support of NASA mission objectives.

“CSSA is blessed and honored to receive this special award,” said Helen Housch, Software Engineering Division Director. “Many thanks to our NASA customers who allow us to serve and to our employees who care about and embrace the mission!”

CSSA was recognized for exemplary support of the MSFC Engineering Directorate Contract.

Eligible organizations are nominated for awards by NASA civil service employees. A panel of NASA business procurement officials assess the following qualities of each organization: cost-conscious business practices, innovative processes, new technology implementation, and overall contributions to NASA’s mission and to the agency’s Small Business Program.
